Cadence | Definition of Cadence by Scrum Dictionary

Definition of Cadence

Synonym for Rhythm.
There are two cadences in Scrum, punctuated by “Inspect and Adapt” ceremonies that enable Scrum to be agile: Daily Scrum and a Sprint.
The Kanban Method defines the following cadences to exchange information and pervade change throughout a System of services. While some Kanban cadences have direct or near association to events described within Scrum, there is no explicit formal tie that prescribes a specific time-box as to when these events must occur.

In the beginning, the team did not want to run a daily Scrum but, after a while it became natural because it was helped the team pool collective information and adjust their daily plan.
