Definition of Delivery Planning Meeting

One of the Kanban Cadences. Facilitated by the person who’s serving as Service Delivery Manager for the purpose of planning/replanning the delivery of some batch of work that is of value to the customer. Decision makers supporting the Kanban System should be present to support sound decisions both towards delivery and changes to work either underway or that may need to be pulled forward to meet delivery goals. A Delivery Planning Meeting can take place frequently enough to ensure that the Kanban System supports its purpose is properly serving the customer’s needs.
