Definition of Forecast
Short for Sprint Forecast.
Examples
The purpose of this session is to have the Team commit to a Sprint Goal and forecast a collection of Stories for the next Sprint.
From the Team’s view, the Product Backlog is work that it might do someday and the Sprint Backlog is work the Team forecasts it can work on now – in the current Sprint.
