Definition of Replenishment
The act of accepting work to be undertaken by the team into a Kanban System from a pool of option to choose from to supply the Kanban System with items of work the team and organization have reasonably high confidence that the customer will take delivery of.
- Replenishment may occur via a formal meeting at a regular cadence.
- Replenishment may occur at-will as the Kanban System visually informs the team of the availability of capacity.
