Definition of Replenishment
The act of accepting work to be undertaken by the team into a Kanban System from a pool of option to choose from to supply the Kanban System with items of work the team and organization have reasonably high confidence that the customer will take delivery of. Replenishment may occur via a formal meeting at a regular cadence. Replenishment may occur at-will as the Kanban System visually informs the team of the availability of capacity.
