Story Board

[stawr-ee, stohr-ee bawrd, bohrd]

Definition of Story Board

A Team tool that shows the tasks that are needed in the Sprint, organized by Story. The Story Board is a ‘living’ document that the Team updates to reflect its current thinking; it is often updated at the Daily Scrum.

Examples

In any case, the Story Board (the stickies on the wall or in the tool) should represent the simple reality, and only have the three states: ‘Not Started’, ‘In Progress’, and ‘Done’.

The Teamlet uses the Story Board to keep track of the status of each Story's tasks every sprint.
