Definition of Velocity
The rate that a Team or Organization has been producing Product; usually calculated as completed StoryPoints per Sprint. It is often used as an approximation for Capacity and is often confused with WorkRate.
Examples
My Team’s Stakeholders are very interested in our sprint-to-sprint Velocity.
