Definition of Catch Feedback
A team member hears some statement made by a stakeholder, catches it, and closes the feedback loop by asking: "I heard you say....(repeats back the statement made by the stakeholder)". This allows the stakeholder to reflect on their thoughts and provide any additional clarity to the team.
In Get To Done, we loosely separate Puller and Catcher as roles when two or more people are involved in collecting information or feedback. For example, in a conversational manner you might stay in eye contact "pulling dialog" while I am heads down "catching observations". We rely on each other as one(puller/catcher) to collect information.
